Learning Resource Centre (Library)

The Learning Resource Centre is situated in the center of the campus. It has an area of about 18,000 . The Centre offers over 1,800 study seats and is fully equipped with Wi-Fi coverage.

The Centre houses more than 700,000 printed books, covering over 570,000 different titles, as well as around 350 Chinese and English print periodicals. Additionally, it provides a wealth of electronic resources, including over 1.5 million e-books, and 156 databases (mainly in foreign languages).


Q1. What are the opening hours?

Monday to Sunday: 08:30–23:00

(Special arrangements for winter and summer breaks and public holidays will be announced separately.)


Q2. How can I enter the library?

BNBU faculty and students can enter the library by swiping their campus cards or using facial recognition.
Freshmen who are unable to access the library should present valid PRC identity card 
passport at the security desk to register for entry.


Q3. When can freshmen borrow books?

The borrowing start date for freshmen will be announced during the Learning Resource Centre orientation for new students.


Q4. What are the borrowing rules?

Students can borrow materials with a valid campus card. The borrowing quota and rules are as follows:
