
New Student Orientation
Registration Days (23-24 August)
In accordance with the regulations of BNBU and the Provisions of the Ministry of Education, students MUST REGISTER with the University at the beginning of EVERY SEMESTER. The specific time and arrangement for each of the semesters will be announced in due course. Please make sure that you complete the relevant registration procedures within the designated period.
For NEW students to register for Semester 1, 2026-2027 academic year, please follow the schedule and procedures listed below:
1. Obtain your Student ID Number and activate your BNBU Portal user ID by login to https://yx.bnbu.edu.cn using your Personal ID Card Number from 13 to 22 August 2026.
2. To upload your ID card (front and back) photo and personal standard electronic photo (MUST be 600*600 pixels in square, white background). The system will automatically process face comparison. Please make sure the photos you upload are correct and clear, without beautifying or retouching.
3. Follow the instructions on the new student orientation portal to complete, submit the relevant documents.
4. Register in-person in the University Hall and the 2nd floor of the Administration Building within the below-listed designated time of your programme of study on 23-24 August 2026:

5. Please bring along the following documents when you come for in-person student enrolment on that day:
a) Notice of admission;
b) Personal ID card (together with 1 photocopy);
c) Student archives in secondary school;
d) Letters of recommendation, CCP or CYL membership details and records (if relevant).
6. All students will be arranged to undergo a health check by the Medical and Health Education Office of the University as part of the new student enrolment procedures.
7. If you have a special circumstance that disallow you from completing the student enrolment process in-person on the registration day, you should inform the Academic Registry in writing and submit the relevant supporting documents on or before 24 August 2026 for alternative arrangement. Those who fail to complete the registration procedures within the specified date without legitimate reasons will be regarded as giving up their place and their admission offer will be forfeited as a result.
